1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service govern your use of Lock Bible, provided by Jan Christian - ME. By downloading, accessing, or using Lock Bible, you agree to these Terms.
2. What Lock Bible Provides
Lock Bible helps you select apps, categories, or sites to shield and unlock them after a short prayer flow. The app is designed for intentional device use and spiritual reflection.
Important limitation
Lock Bible is not emergency software, parental-control supervision, therapy, medical care, or a guarantee that distractions will be prevented in every circumstance. You are responsible for how you configure and use shields.
3. Permissions and User Control
Lock Bible requires permissions to apply shields. On iPhone, that includes Screen Time authorization and related extension capabilities. An Android version is planned and these Terms will be updated with its permission requirements before it launches.
If permissions are revoked, subscription entitlement lapses, or the app detects a safety condition, Lock Bible should stop applying shields or clear active shields where supported.
4. Subscriptions
Lock Bible Pro may unlock app shields, prayer unlock sessions, streak history, journey stats, or other premium features. Purchases, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store.
- Prices, trial terms, and renewal details appear before purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled under store rules.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.
- Refund requests are handled by the store where you purchased.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Use Lock Bible to control another person's device without lawful permission.
- Bypass, tamper with, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
- Use the app in a way that violates law, store rules, or third-party rights.
- Use automated tools to abuse subscription, support, or backend systems.
6. Prayer Content
Prayer text, Bible quotations, icons, UI, and editorial content are owned, licensed, or used under applicable public-domain or permitted sources. You may use them inside the app, but you may not redistribute them outside the app except where sharing features explicitly allow it.
7. Privacy
The collection and use of information is described in the Lock Bible Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, discontinue, or change Lock Bible features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every shield will work on every device, operating-system version, or permission state.
9. Disclaimers and Liability
Lock Bible is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for decisions you make based on app content, inability to access a shielded app, failure to shield an app, lost data, or indirect damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, except where local consumer protection rules require otherwise.
