Delete your Bestead account

Delete in the app

1. Open Bestead and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Profile or Settings, then open Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

This removes the Firebase Authentication account and clears account-scoped Bestead data stored by that app installation. Uninstalling the app also removes data kept only on that device.

Request deletion by email

To request deletion of the account and associated server-side records, email us from the address used for your Bestead account. Use the subject “Bestead Account Deletion” and include the account email address. Never send your password or payment details.

What is deleted

• Your Bestead authentication account and account identifier.
• Server-side Bestead profile or synced content, if the app version you used enabled sync.
• RevenueCat customer data associated with the Bestead account, where deletion is legally permitted.
• Account-scoped data stored locally by the app when you use the in-app deletion flow.
• Product analytics records held by our analytics provider under your account identifier. These record which features were used, never your journal entries, mood notes, or reflection answers, since that content is never sent off your device.

Timing and retained records

We aim to complete verified email deletion requests within 30 days. Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, or we may retain limited purchase, transaction, fraud-prevention, security, accounting, or legal records for the period required by law. Those retained records are not used to restore your deleted Bestead account.
